From EYE to FEEL

    On May 15, 2013 I had dinner at the Holiday Inn Resort,Batu Feringhi. At 3.30 pm, me, my friends and lecturer  Madam Farina  went to Holiday Inn resort, from Uitm Penang. About an hour our travel time to the Holiday Inn Resort, Batu Feringhi. Me and my friends greeted well by the hotel staff. Mr Ezani a director of F&B gave greetings remarks. Mr Ezani pass the speech to Chef Zulkapli bin Hatim to explain about the hotel and the food. Chef Zulkapli is a executive chef at Holiday Inn Resort. He from Johore. Let me tell about the history of the hotel. The resort renovated in 2010, consists of the Beach Wing 7 floors and 23 floors of Feringhi Tower that are connected by a sky- bridge. Beach Wing guest room is an exotic retreat, steps from the palm-fringed waterfront. Balconies in Feringhi Tower look out overs the Malacca Strait and Penang's coastline. This resort is a good place to stay.

This is Holiday Inn staff appearance. The staff appearance is so nice.

            
Firstly, when I get into the Holiday Inn resort, I was surprised by the peaceful ambience. Its make me so cool. We can the sunset at the beach.

 This is Dinner Buffet International, a lot of food that has been prepared to our that including appetisers , & salad bar ,soups corner, main dishes dessert and action stall. All of food is very awesome,interesting, delicious. Around 37 types of food prepared by Holiday Inn Resort.

Among the appetizer are:

  •  Mix Green Salad
  • Anti Pasta Platter with Garlic Toast
  • Cucumber, Asian Coleslaw
  • Blackened Chicken Mango
  • Baby Octopus Shooters
  • Seafood Platter with Condiments
  • Carrot Raisin, Tuna  Tataki with Shoyu Mayo
  • Rolled Gado-gado with Peanut Sauce and many more.



I tried all appetizers but the most I like is Baby Octopus Shooters. It is very marvellous.

The among main dishes are:
  • Crispy Chicken with Mango Kerab
  • Fried Prawn with Butter & Oats
  • Braised Beef Ribs with Grilled Pineapple
  • Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Coconut Thai Chili
  • Baked Mussel Mornay Sauce & Salsa
  • Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables
  • Gratin Potato
  • Aloo Gobhi
  • Dal Makhani
  •  Biryani Rice.

The main dishes most delicious is Fried Prawn with Butter & Oats. When I eat this food,  I feel like awesome.


 My favourite dishes is Chicken Tikka and Baked Mussel Mornay Sauce & Tomato. Its make me want to eat more, more and more.


There are many dessert that I have tried. But I like Banana & Apple Crumble. I never try before this so when this hotel served this dessert i really enjoyed.

The among dessert are :
  • Tropical Fresh Fruits Platter
  • Pandan Delight
  • Mango Pudding
  • Banana & Apple Crumble
  • Mix Melon Soup
  • Creme Brulee 
  • Chocolate Mousse 
  • Assorted Cakes & Pastries
  • Bubur Jagung 
  • Crepe Sabayon with Condiments

But i would like to tell about Indian food. in many foods, I love indian food because I rarely get to eat food India. So when I knew this International Buffet Dinner provides food india, I am very excited. I could not wait to try the food India

Very definitely worth I paying for this dinner.A many choices food and very difficult for me to choose food. I hope after this, dinner like this, there will be more. This is experience that i can't forget.
